Well, about 2 weeks ago, I found out I am expecting... again... The kicker is that my daughter just turned 12, and that this was totally unplanned (yet again) and attempted at prevention (which apparently did not work). That does not mean that this child is unwanted or unloved.
The father is excited, however, he had just begun dating someone else - and has decided to attempt to continue that relationship at this time. This confuses me, but I also understand, and I won't be one of those women who forces something on someone who doesn't want it.
My daughter is ecstatic, she's wanted a sibling basically since she could talk. The problem I'm running into is that there don't appear to be any books for her age group to help her to understand what is going on without being babyish. So, this may all end up being a way for me to explain things to her, as well as to little bean... eventually... So, that's where we are for now. I'll explain a few other interesting occurrences that happened last week soon, but for now, this may be a good start.
